Blog about the piece: ”I must be a mermaid, Rango. I have no fear of depths and a great fear of shallow living.” – Anaïs Nin
In just a few short days I'll be back in the mountains, breathing that lucid air and getting lost in all of that awesome space. Skeptics often ask why I climb mountains. And for me, it's about adventure -- not about crossing something off my bucket list. It's about experiencing the rawness of the world and embracing uncertainty. It's about setting aside goals and expections -- while appreciating the journey and all of the changes (within yourself) that come with climbing the mountain. I must be a mountain goat, Rango. I have no fear of heights and a great fear of straight and narrow living.
