we wait
in a world that moves us
for the pieces to fit together
for the unknown to be known
and the confusion to make sense
sometimes we wait in anticipation
but find ourselves lost in the wanting
sometimes we wait in meditation
and find ourselves lost in thought
sometimes we wait
as we move along with life
and find life is a reflection
of ourselves
we are not lost
but ever present in the moment
we have chosen
the pieces are already there
made whole
we just haven't discovered them yet.
Blog about the piece:
Too often I struggle to know why something happened or what I'm supposed to do next. But more and more I am learning that I don't always have to know -- I don't always have to find the reason behind a happening. In fact there is a beauty to this. I believe that accepting this unknowing is a big part of life. In fact, my quote for today from THE UNIVERSE (www. tut.com/the club/) went a little something like this:
"The path to enlightenment is not a path at all, it's actually a metaphor for the time it takes for you to allow yourself to be happy with who you already are, where you're already at, and what you already have - no matter what." We don't always have to know why we're where we are or doing what we do. Just feel gratitude that we are here, alive, feeling, seeing, breathing, smelling, tasting and loving. Don't waste all your time searching for the answer... you're looking beyond it."
