365 days of aRt. DAY ONE HUNDRED & TWENTY.

worn sidewalks
that line side roads
that wind sideways
to old shadows
cast by buildings way too tall
for a small town.

Blog about the piece:
Brick upon brick the layers go up, adding height until the shadow is so big we can not see the light. It may be walls of separation, maybe buildings of complication. Make it simple. Start with a foundation, who you are, what you need and only surround yourself with that which allows you the best view of you. Don't keep adding layers until you feel unlike yourself, or until you collapse from exaggeration. Keep it simple.
