365 days of aRt. DAY ONE HUNDRED & FIFTY-FIVE.
we are not the broken pieces of the day.

Blog about the piece: The greatest lesson I have learned thus far, was from a secondhand story of a German exchange student. When asked if she missed her family and her life back home, she simply replied, THAT THOUGHT WILL NOT SERVE ME. Whether she missed her family or not, she knew that she had a year to get through without them, and that missing them would do nothing for her experience here and now. Think of how many times worry, doubt and negativity appear in our thoughts day in and day out. Too many times to count. Now think if you had the conscious ability to recognize the thought, and make it disappear as instantly as it came. How much easier and abundant our lives would be, and yet I'm giving you the million dollar mantra to make it all happen: THAT THOUGHT WILL NOT SERVE ME.
