the children silhouette against the sunset,
clothes wet,
cold and yet,
they're happy.
Blog about the piece:
There's something truly admirable about a child's ability to express happiness, and not only to express this, but to retreat back to their happy state no matter how upset they may get. Screams, tantrums, pouty faced cries - these expressions are powerful and overwhelming at times, but they don't last long. Children feel what they feel without dismissing or attaching anything else to it. Within seconds of feeling upset, children can become happy again. Their honest expressions force them to be in the moment, to let it flow and then let it go.
