Blog about the piece: When you hear that word obsession, what do you think of? Maybe you envision a loss of control or an unhealthy longing. Maybe you think of a relationship or even a bad habit. But what about the good side of it? Could there be a healthy obsession? I suppose almost anything in extreme can be detrimental to who we are, but let us take into consideration the definition for obsession. Obsession: the domination of one's thoughts or feelings by a persistent idea, image, or desire. So where would some of the world's greatest actors, athletes, artists, dancers, singers, or teachers be without their obsession? Our obsessions drive us. They are in the pilot seat right next to passion and desire. Our obsession to write and paint has paved the way for CANVAS VOICE. And maybe I could call it something less. Maybe I could name it a dream or a hobby, but it's all one in the same (this love for what we do). So today I'm obsessed in the best way possible, with exploring, expanding, and sharing CANVAS VOICE with you. Feel free to do the same. Get a little obsessed today!
