Blog about the piece: It's amazing how much we change as we grow, not just in our physical appearance but in all other ways -- our taste of food, our view on life, beliefs, love for things, etc. This change doesn't always come over time, it can be instantaneous. Now we all fall into habits, this is true. But at any given moment we have every opportunity to choose to be, to act, to talk and to see what we want. And even though we might have chosen to be, act, talk or see the same thing differently yesterday, today's a new story. I try to remind myself of this idea when I find certain expectations or assumptions toward others creeping up inside of me. If my mind changes all the time, why can't someone else's? That being said, even though Mr. Treble likes to play funky music on his guitar everyday, it doesn't mean that he won't want to play classical at some point. Maybe today you can allow yourself to be surprised by a change of mind, be it in yourself or someone else. It's always fun to try!
